Change Password
If you ever change the password for your Upstairs account, you will need to update it in Homey for all connected Smart Stairs devices. Otherwise, Homey will no longer be able to control the stairs.
Open the Homey Mobile App or Homey Web App.
Navigate to Devices and select one of your Upstairs Smart Stairs devices.
Open the device Settings:
Mobile App: Tap the gear icon → Advanced Settings
Web App: Click the gear icon and scroll to Advanced Settings
Locate the Upstairs Account Credentials section.
Enter your new Upstairs account password (the email remains the same).
Save your changes.
The Upstairs Smart Stairs app will automatically test the connection with your Upstairs account.
If the password is invalid, an error message will be shown.
Repeat this process for every staircase connected to Homey, since each is a separate device.
Important: Repeat this for each Smart Stairs device.
